One of the later version from 1975 with PD logo print on the dial. Formula 1 World Champion Mario Andretti wore this model on his Lotus during races. Exactly 50 years ago in 1972, F.A. Porsche realized its first chronograph together with the Swiss company Orfina and thus created a legend. The black "Posche watch" became a sales success and came onto the market almost at the same time as the introduction of the G series for the 911. Exceptionally preserved military chronograph Orfina Porsche Design Bund with reference number 7177 from the mid-1970s. This satin-finished chronograph, powered by the automatic Lemania 5100 movement, was specifically manufactured for the military and is in a worn but excellent condition. It features a black dial with the 3H logo, a tachymeter inner ring, a German day of the week display, and a date function. BUND supply number and Porsche Design are engraved on the back. Original Tritium dial with a satin-finished original steel bracelet.
